Product Description

What goes into your tyre eventually ends up somewhere else. BioBike is an innertube sealant made from vegetable and mineral ingredients — 100% biodegradable, water-based, non-corrosive. It seals punctures up to 6 mm and works with Presta and Schrader valves, from −20°C to +50°C. For tube riders who care about what they leave behind.

How it seals

The plant-derived formula flows to a puncture under pressure and seals from the inside — no intervention required. It performs across the full temperature range and holds at the pressures tube riders use day to day, from 30 to 80 psi. When the tube reaches end of life, nothing toxic goes with it.

How long does it take to biodegrade?

Inside a sealed tube, the formula stays stable for the life of the tube. When it eventually contacts soil microbes — for example, when you dispose of an old tube — the biodegradation process begins within weeks. The vegetable and mineral ingredients break down without leaving petrochemical residue.

Which valves does it work with?

Removable-core Presta valves and all Schrader tube valves.

What makes it biodegradable?
